Hearing Aids

We are here to help you.Your ears are a vital link to communication in our world. They enable us to hear the sounds that constantly surround us. However, your ability to hear can diminish for a number of reasons. Hearing loss can affect infants through seniors. A variety of tests are available for patients of all ages to determine hearing sensitivity. Early identification and aural rehabilitation can provide significant improvements in a person's quality of life.

Types of Hearing Aids
  • Behind-the-ear (BTE) - helps with severe to profound hearing loss or high frequency hearing loss. It is also helpful for patients with dexterity problems and patients with middle ear problems.
  • In-the-ear (ITE) - helps patients with mild to severe hearing loss. This aid is also helpful to patients with dexterity problems.
  • Half shell (HS) - the most popular size hearing aid. This can be fit on patients with mild to severe hearing loss.
  • In-the-canal (ITC) - helps patients with mild to moderate hearing loss. These aids are smaller in size.
  • Completely-in-the-canal (CIC) - helps patients with mild hearing loss, not appropriate for all patients.
